Jury Duty or Witness Service

Section 201.29 of the Standard Practice Guide states that faculty or staff employed on sponsored research projects who lose time from work for jury or witness service will receive their regular University compensation for the lost time. A copy of the call to witness or jury service along with a written verification from the court clerk of the times and dates should be provided by the staff member to the immediate supervisor. This policy became effective on February 15, 1998.
